argh that fateful time where you MEGACRAM. having all 5 exams in the first week is alot of fun. Id like to wish everyone luck in their exams. :)

In other news, the pesky gauls have been giving me some trouble in Rome: Total war. i really recommend the game its great fun. Im playing the campagin as the romans on hard campaign and hard battle computer AI and its pretty tough. The senate gave me a mission to take one of the Gallic provinces halfway into the Gauls territory... wtf?

So i send my faction leader Flavius Julius with a sizeable army of around 500 men by ship and take the town. Ive been holding the town for around 10 years against repeated attacks by the gauls, facing twice as many men as i have in the town several times over... Also, the town im trying to defend only has a wooden palisade for defence.. :(

Ive also had to defend my northern front against the gauls who are also launching an attack on my frontier, so ive got a fully sexy general whos won like 10 battles so hes REALLY good. Then the fagass gauls brought in their King with 1000 men (fiarly large army this early in the game) and attacked me. The king is really tanked up and he raises the gauls morale up heaps and 40 heavy cavalry with full valour just mows down my peasants.. :(

The really annoying thing about this is, i tried to reinforce my town that was being attacked by the Gallic King and his army, but when i do that, the AI controls my reinforcements, not me.. ANd naturally, the computer thinks it is best to charge my extremely good general into the battle and get him killed.... arghhh.

But yeah its a really top game. Deep and involved with cool tactics and stuff. Like i was fighting the gauls on a hill, and they had double my amount of troops :( so naturally they had a much wider front. I concentrated on a solid rectangular army two units deep, and allowed the gauls to surround my infantry. Then my equites (light horsemen) who were hiding in the woods to the left and right, charged into the gauls who were enveloping my army. the gauls still won.. cos they had so many more troops and equites while good for charges arent that great in extended combat.. but i wiped out alot of hairy, unbathed gauls, bwahahaha

in my boredem while doing my hw..... me and one my broz crazii friendz...... alex.... came up with a poem of our own...... its called " the wonderful world of thrush"..... and its what we do when we are bored HAHAHAH....

Well the weekend wasnt really thrilling, but seeing as i havent posted in a fair while i guess i should.
Friday night we piled 6 guys into matts car and drove out to Semafore for a party. not worth the long drive some said, i said meh, something out of the ordinary. funny moments were joe riding the bmx and fallling off, some girl throwing up on a $300 quilt in front of the party holders mum, goon on ice, not so funny but still memorable, girl with glass cut to the foot bleeding on the carpet and the little brother of the party guy cleaning it up, sketchy's comments on various peoples women including midget sex, cellulite (spelling? fucking hot chick though :) ) and many others. that was probly bout it, apart from jason the deadshit getting gum in kims hair......like wtf. singing on the way home in the car was tops. 5ad rocks my socks.
Sat was rowing again, after late fri night. not exactly the smartest thing but ohh well. jas and tom a came down for some viewing (of hot chicks, not rowing). someone also managed to hit a tree with her car, as she was backing out. the tree jumped out at her and got the car. ill leave you to find the person who drives a dented white celica with pink seats and stripes down the side.
Sat night sucked royally, stayed home and worked on case study report for cnap, which ive finished and is 23 pages =/
